What is the 2030 SDGs Game?
The 2030 SDGs Game is a multiplayer, in-person, card-based game that simulates taking the “real world” into the year 2030.
Designed in Japan in 2016, the 2030 SDGs Game has become a powerful and impactful social phenomenon, earning extensive media coverage and engaging over 400,000 participants.
Between 2016 and 2018, the game was played exclusively in Japan. In response to growing global demand, an English edition was created at the end of 2018. In subsequent years, additional language editions were developed to bring the game to communities around the world.
The 2030 SDGs Game card sets are currently available in the following 11 languages:
JAPANESE, ENGLISH, TRADITIONAL CHINESE, DUTCH, SPANISH, KOREAN, THAI, FRENCH, GERMAN, PORTUGUESE, HEBREW
